Encouraging all Micronesians in the United States to participate in the US Census so that we can all be counted. As my niece, Josie Howard, Director of We Are Oceania (WAO), who appears in this public service announcement with other community leaders, getting counted will give voice to our communities and “informs how billions of dollars of public funding are spent each year.” More importantly, participating in the Census will provide real data on our positive contributions to the United States through education, public, and private sectors.
